This Pietra Dura mosaic captures the mysterious calm of Kaoru Yamada’s “Full Moon.” The piece combines deep blues of violan and shattuckite with the gentle shimmer of xonotlite and marble to recreate the radiance of a winter night. The composition’s delicate balance between light and shadow evokes tranquility and introspection, while the fine texture of rhodonite, rhodusite, and nephrite adds depth and atmosphere. Handcrafted with precision, this work embodies the harmony between gemstone beauty and artistic expression.
