About NotOnlyRocks

NotOnlyRocks is a curated selection of mineral specimens and stone artworks based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I’m Alexey, a mineral collector with a background in crystallography. I moved to Sofia a few years ago and focus on building a collection of distinctive, well-formed specimens. Mineralogy has been part of my family for years, and this project grew naturally from that environment.

Florentine mosaic (Pietra Dura) pieces presented here come from our family workshop, founded by my father and continuing today. Each work is made from natural stones, cut and assembled by hand.

I personally select every mineral specimen with attention to locality, crystal structure, and visual quality. Many pieces are sourced through direct contacts and exhibitions across Europe.

All items are stored and shipped from the European Union and carefully packed for safe delivery worldwide.

New specimens and artworks are added regularly.
